We will help you with your switch to hydrogen!
Are you interested in future-proofing your company?
Our part-time training programme ”Net Zero Scenario” covers the entire value chain of the hydrogen economy. At the same time, it is highly adaptable and can be tailored to your needs.
Choose our basic course or the advanced training with the personal certification ”Hydrogen Expert with TÜV Rheinland Certified Qualification”.
Are you interested in getting a comprehensive overview of the hydrogen value chain?
Do you require a deeper understanding as you are currently planning / involved in the transformation to hydrogen in your own company or as you are in politics / a public authority or a bank and would like to shed light on the topic of green hydrogen in order to make well-informed decisions? Furthermore, you want to have an intensive exchange with our industry partners and scientists and receive a personal certification: ”Hydrogen Expert with TÜV Rheinland Certified Qualification”?
Now you just need to decide whether you want to do the course by distance learning or with a two-day visit to the Wasserstoff Campus Salzgitter (in week 3) going on exciting excursions to our industry partners. The content (including the on-site information) is the same and you’ll get the same personal certification.

Certification course
The program was designed for people with different levels of prior knowledge (you may even have none), who require a good understanding of the hydrogen economy like planners, management representatives, engineers, employees of municipal utilities, foremen, master or people working at an approving authority, an insurance company or a bank.
Basic course
The program is for anyone who wants to acquire a solid basic knowledge of the hydrogen economy.
In the basic course and the run-in phase for the certification course you will learn at your own time and speed. However, this self-paced learning program does not leave you alone with the content. Our trainers will provide you with an introduction to the platform and will be available throughout the course to answer any questions or concerns you may have.
The E-Learnings are highly interactive and address different learning styles and preferences and are accompanied by live-online meetings.
Topics:
In Module B you will get short technical input lectures, interactive exercises, discussions and the possibility to exchange ideas, questions and problems with researchers and hydrogen using companies. You will see the practical application of hydrogen infrastructure at our partner companies.
Modul B may be done at site on the hydrogen campus Salzgitter or online (winter edition).
At the end of the training, you will understand and be able to analyze the systemic interactions in the hydrogen economy and assess potential applications for your business.

The Fraunhofer IST is guiding the Wasserstoff Campus Salzgitter from a scientific perspective. The IST stands for layer and surface technology with competences for its associated products and product systems. The range of services by the institute includes the development of materials and processes for electrolyzers, hydrogen storage and fuel cells, as well as the planning of the entire value chain from its production to storage and distribution to its use.
At the Wasserstoff Campus Salzgitter, the economically viable provision and utilization of hydrogen is to be researched and tested; as a result, train travel should become more environmentally friendly and steel should become greener in the future. In our film, we show you how the activities at the Wasserstoff Campus Salzgitter have progressed, which projects we are currently working on, and how the potential of hydrogen can be further exploited – both ecologically and economically – for a better future together. Prepare yourself for a surprise.
